Puff Pastry Appetizers
10" Quiche Lorraine
Line quiche dish, fairly thinly, with 12 oz Pillsbury pie crust. Lightly pre-bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes
Salt, Pepper, Nutmeg to suit taste
8 oz mixture of half milk and half Carnation evaporated milk
2 eggs plus 1 yolk
1 quart of mushrooms
3 slices of bacon
1 medium onion chopped
3 oz of cheese, grated
1 oz of butter
Fry bacon, mushrooms and onion in the butter
Beat eggs, milk and seasoning together and add cheese
Fill pastry crust first with fried components and pour eggs, milk etc on top.
Bake at 375ºF for 35 minutes
Allow to stand for about 5 minutes
