Babicka's Struedel
First Dough:
10 dg flour
10 dg margarine
Second Dough:
10 dg flour
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp hot milk
2 tbsp vinegar
pinch of salt
Filling:
4 to 5 large grated Apples
Raisins
Walnuts
Breadcrumbs
Cinnamon sugar
Manufacture:
Roll out Second dough and then put First dough on top of it and roll out. Fold all corners inside and roll out again. Do this three times. Stand dough in fridge for 1/2 hour, then split into four portions to make four struedels.
Roll out the first struedel into a rectangle; sprinkle lightly with breadcrumbs; cover with grated apples; sprinkle cinnamon sugar; put raisins and then walnuts on top. Fold dough together.
Repeat for other portions of dough.
Then brush with whisked egg (yolk and white)
Grate 5 large apples; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and raisins.
Preheat oven Bake at 400ºF for 30 to 35 minutes until it’s done.
